We have several items that need to be addressed at the December meeting, so I would encourage all to come if you can. We will be electing officers for the 2012 season. Classic qualifiers will be voting on a lake and date, so if you have a preference you must be present to vote.

Remember, you have to have fished 6 tournament in 2011 to qualify.

We will also serve our annual holiday dinner for all members and guest, so bring your spouse or significant other.

October Tournament - O.H. Ivie

The Board of Directors will sponsor the Oct Ivie Tournament. Richard Gray will take registration at his trailer at Elm Creek on Friday Oct 14^th from 5:00 pm till 10:00 pm. No registration at boat ramp either day. Weigh in will be at Elm Creek Boat Ramp at normal times. Jim Hair and Lynn Barnes will conduct weigh in.  Richards’s trailer is located in Elm Creek. Turn in at Marina go to First Street to the left and Richards’s trailer is the 2^nd from the east end and has his name outside. We will also be having a fish fry at Richards at 6:30 pm on Saturday and possibly a Calcutta if anyone wants to. There will be beer at registration and fish fry left over from SIT. Be extremely careful on the lake as it is low and there are trees all over the lake that are not normally there. I would not suggest launching in the dark unless you idle and have a good spot light.

2011 Classic

The Classic tournament was held at Lake Ray Roberts on May 5 - 7. Lynn Barnes was the big winner, but his big bass of 7.44 came in under Rodney Shelton's 8.29 big bass of the tourney. See the pictures here. The final 2011 Classic standings are as follows:

2011 Midessa Boat & RV Show
Thank you to everyone that stopped by our booth at the boat show. We raised around $600 through our "wheel of fortune." The 46th annual State Invitational Tournament was a huge success! Thank you to everyone who fished, volunteered, or came to watch! We appreciate your support and we look forward to seeing you again in 2011. You can view the two-day totals here.
