Rules

              Policies

  1. Membership in this club shall be open to all persons interested in Bass fishing.

  2. A returning member is one who was a member during the prior year.  Returning members may re-join the club at a tournament, General Meeting, Boat Show, or at any time through any Permian Bass Club member that is in good standing

  3. New members may join at any time prior to two weeks before a tournament or at the tournament if sponsored by a Permian Bass Club member that is in good standing.

  4. The Board of Directors may not spend over $250.00 without the general membership approval if not budgeted for.

  5. Yearly memberships are from January 1st to December 31st. Yearly dues are $25.00 per adult, $35.00 per family of 4 (18 years of age and over), and $10.00 per each additional immediate family member

  6. A member may be dropped from the membership roll for the following reasons.  Failure to pay dues, conviction of a felony, failure to comply with game and fishing laws or any action which would reflect dishonor or disgrace on the club. 

  7. A member may sponsor a non-related child as a non-voting junior member at no fee and will be held totally responsible for that child’s actions providing he/she complies within the rule stated for Junior membership.

  8. The State Invitational Tournament will be held in September at Lake Amistad and will be funded by the yearly budget.

  9. The PBC will furnish rooms (not donated by city of Del Rio) and Saturday night Supper   (at a designated place) for members dedicated to working the SIT.

  10. A club team that wants to fish the SIT and work, will pay the full early entry fee    before the deadline and will be refunded $50.00 at the October meeting providing that the team has fulfilled his/hers      obligation.  Big Bass is optional and is not refundable.  That club team will be at weigh-in 15 minutes before weight-in starts on both days and work designated tasks.  The SIT Director and a Committee will have final decision in matters on this policy.

  11. The Classic tournament will be held in March or April if necessary due to Easter.  The contestants will be the top producers of the preceding year. 

  12. Changes to Constitution, By-Laws, Policies, and Rules for Administering Club Tournaments can be considered only once a calendar year.  Members must present changes in person at the October Board of Directors meeting for discussion. The Board of Directors will review proposed changes.  Proposed changes with the Board’s recommendations and comments to be printed in the newsletter prior to November General Meeting. Vote on changes to be done at the December meeting.  No changes are to be discussed at any General Meeting except the months of November and December.

  13. The club will buy $250.00 worth of prizes in January.  The following month $100.00 worth of prizes will be bought plus what was made at the previous meeting.

  14. Three (3) quality programs per year to enhance attendance. The club will budget $2500.00 per year for these programs.

  15. 10% of the net profit of the year will be given away to a charity to be determined by a 3 member committee appointed in October by the BOD.  The committee will report to the board with their suggestion at the January general meeting.
  16. A. A paid member can host  one (1) guest in one (1) tournament. 

        Guide Lines: That particular guest has to become a member to fish any additional tournaments in that fiscal year.

    B. Upon enlistment of that guest as a member, the host is eligible to host another guest.

    C. Host and Guest must fish out of the same boat.

    D. Guest must pay tournament fees to be eligible for any prize monies.

    E. Guest must be aware of and abide by PBC rules and policies.

    F. Guest must sign a release that PBC is not responsible for any accidents.
