To all 2011 Classic qualifiers: The classic lake has been set as Lake Falcon and the dates are March 15th for pre-fish, and March 16 & 17 for the tournament. Lake Falcon is now OFF LIMITS for all qualifiers until March 15th. Dennis Weaver has made arrangements at the Oso Blanco for rooms. We will have a pre-tournament meeting at the motel on the evening of the 15th to discuss weigh-in sites and side pots.

Confirmed rooms at Oso Blanco are $55.00 per night + tax. There has been 13 rooms reserved for Thursday, Friday, and Saturday (March 15-17). Call 1-956-765-4339 ASAP to reserve your room and confirm if you want to add Wednesday night or just Thurs-Sat. Ten rooms are on the highway side and 3 rooms are on the backside. Dennis Weaver has reserved 105 and Keith Curtis has reserved 104 so far.

We have got the 2012 Season kicked off and I would like to Congratulate the 2011 Winners Jason Samp Hardest Worker, Don Poston Outstanding Member and Richard Gray is now a lifetime member. These men are all great club members and very much deserve this recognition so thanks for a job well done. We had a good turnout at Amistad for the first tournament with 47 Entries plus 1 Teen and 1 Youth. The weather was nice and the fishing good for some and tough for others. We have several new members this year and I would like to welcome them to the club. We will be finalizing the Boat Show at the Feb meeting and encourage all to come and help us out this year with the show. Please contact Gary Carlisle for info on helping with the Boat Show.
