NAME

SECTION 1.
|
The name of the corporation is The Permian Bass
Club, Inc.
|
|
SECTION 2.
|
The
duration of the club shall be perpetual and will function as a state
chartered non-profit Organization and all references hereafter in
the Constitution shall be a profit making organization for federal tax
purposes only.

PURPOSE
|

|
SECTION 1.
|
The purpose of
this club will be to bring about a closer association of those persons
interested in the fine art of bass fishing.
|
|
SECTION 2.
|
Conduct
meetings and encourage good fellowship among all bass fishermen.
|
|
SECTION 3.
|
Sponsor men, women, and teams to out of town
tournaments.
|
|
SECTION 4.
|
Use all
possible influence to improve Bass fishing conditions in West Texas.
|
|
SECTION 5.
|
Cooperate
with conservation officials in any manner that will help insure the
continuation of or betterment
of bass fishing in any area
|

Membership
|
|
|
|
|
SECTION 1.
|
Membership in this club shall be
open to all persons interested in Bass fishing. To become a member of
this club, a person must pay his/hers dues and be willing to abide by all
the rules. Dues are:
A. $25.00 per year for regular adult members.
B. $35.00 per year for
full family membership.
Family Membership consist of a
Paid member and/or spouse, and two 2 children up to 22 years of
age. Children must be registered in College with the same permanent
address as the paid member. Children under the age of 17 are considered
junior members.

SECTION 2.
|
There will be four types
of membership:
A.
Regular for those members entitled to vote on all issues and whose dues
are paid in full.
B.
Honorary is extended to certain individuals as deemed proper by a 2/3
majority vote of those present at any regular meeting.
C.
Junior is a non-voting membership extended to those meeting the club
requirements. A junior who reaches their seventeenth birthday during the
club year shall be an adult and vote and fish as such.
D.
Lifetime is for a member of at least fifteen years. Only one lifetime
member may be chosen for any one year. The member must be a working
member and an outstanding member, preferably one of the oldest members. |

SECTION 3.
|
To become a
member of this club, a person must pay his/hers dues and be willing to
abide by all rules of this club.

Officers

SECTION 1.
|
The
elected officers of this club shall be President, First Vice President, 2nd.
Vice President, Secretary, Treasurer/Sergeant at Arms, and elected Board
of Directors.

SECTION 2.
|
All officers and BOD to serve one-year terms with
a maximum of 2 consecutive terms..
|

Meetings
|

SECTION 1.
|
There
shall be one regular meeting each month on the first Tuesday at 7:30 PM,
or as designated.
|
|
SECTION 2.
|
Special meetings of the club may be called by the
president.
|
|
SECTION 3.
|
Committee meetings shall be subject to the call
of their respective chairman.

Amendments
|

|
|
|
SECTION 1.
|
This constitution may be amended by a 2/3 vote of
the membership present at any regular meeting.
|
|
SECTION 2.
|
No member shall
be denied the right to request a vote on any issue provided no motions is on
the floor. Any motion brought
up for a vote that would affect a change in the Charter, Constitution,
By-Laws, Policies, and Tournament Rules must go to a Committee to study
how it will affect the other parts of the club rules and report to the
Board with a recommendation. The
Board will render a decision to bring before the General Meeting the
following month.
