Oct. Letter to the Club
Hi all!!
It’s October! And things are hopping with the Permian Bass Club!!! Please, all try to come to the meeting Tuesday Oct. 7th, we have a lot to do!
  1. Ivie Tournament Oct. 11th and 12th. Registration at Eddy’s Trailer Friday night until late, Weigh-in at Kennedy Park ramp area. Phone service is non-existent
  2. Club BBQ Feed Sat. night 6:30-7:00 at Eddy’s Sponsored by Dennis Weaver and Billy Cheatum, bring lawn chairs, Adult beverages furnished
  3. Lake Committee to be formed at the Oct. meeting
    1. Consisting of (2) BOD or Officer and one from the general meeting
  4. Nomination Committee to form at the meeting
    1. To report back to the BOD and Club at the Nov. meeting
    2. Then at the Dec. meeting a Ballet will be handed out for a vote
  5. Rules changes to be submitted
    1. Rules must be in writing
    2. They must reference the rule it’s changing and any other area of the rules it effects
    3. Author must be know
    4. I will accept rule changes at the Ivie tournament for out of town’ers and last min. request
    5. The BOD will meet Oct. 22nd to make sure the rule doesn’t conflict with others (may need to be sent back to author for revisions)
    6. They BOD does a “Vote of Confidence” that is revealed before ballots are taken
    7. At the Nov. General meeting all rules will be discussed and an opportunity given to the author as well as rebuttals. No Vote at the Nov. meeting, no new rules will be accepted
    8. Then at the Dec. Meeting ballets will be handed out, a generic reading of the rules may take place by the president but NO discussion on the general floor
So you can see we have a lot, let alone a report from our SIT director and treasurer on how we did at the SIT
